Van’s 1st Visit to Disneyland
Thursday Van & Jen went to Disneyland to celebrate David’s birthday. We had a fun time and Van rode on It’s a Small World and Winnie the Poo. He really seemed to like Small World and enjoyed looking at everything. Can’t wait to go back!

Tie Dye Fun
We went down to Campland on the Bay this afternoon to hang out with Jake & Deb. It was Campland’s 40th anniversary so the Director of Fun (remember him Mom & Dad?!?) went all out and had music, jewelry making and tie dying. We had fun listening to the Grateful Dead cover band while making our tie dye shirts. It was our first time doing tie dye and they turned out really great, if i do say so myself. Even Van has a cute little tie died onesie! We’ll be sure to take a picture once they all dry 😉

Go Big Blue!
On Wednesday night we went to see the Dodgers take on the Padres at Petco Park with Danny, Tonita and Isabella. Even though the Dodgers lost, we had a great time riding the trolley, taking the kids to their first baseball game, eating hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and ice cream (we bought all-you-could eat tickets) and just enjoying a great night out! Thanks Nana for the great Dodger apparel! 🙂

Snow Day!
Jen took off work on Friday and we flew up to her parent’s house for a snow day! A few days ago they got over 12 inches of snow, so we figured we’d better take advantage of it and have an early Christmas. Pilot LOVED the snow and we had a great time sledding and hanging out.

The Office Game
The Office started again last night and we couldn’t have asked for a better episode… I sent the link to watch it online to Mom & Dad and Jamie & David, so I won’t spoil it by posting anything about the episode. Anyway, last week (or the week before… I am so losing track of time) Danny & Tonita came over for dinner and to hang out. At about 9:00pm we got the crazy idea to run over to Target to see if they had The Office Trivia Game. We grabbed the game and took it back home to play. The idea of playing the game ended up being more…

Screen on the Green
Every summer, the San Diego Museum of Art at Balboa Park hosts a movie night every Thursday. They show old movies on a large screen outside on the lawn by the Botanical Building. It is a beautiful setting and a whole lot of fun. You gotta love San Diego! By the way, we watched “The Shop Around the Corner” the film that was the inspiration for “You’ve Got Mail”. It was so cute!

He is just jealous…
The other day we went shooting with Eric & Sheree. It was a blast (no pun intended) and we had an awesome set-up that would do any hillbilly proud 🙂 I’ll let Kenny write more about it later, but I just wanted to post this video Sheree sent me. Listen carefully to Kenny at the end… He just wishes he was as good of a shot as me… there is really no other excuse for the trash talking!

Kabobs!
I meant to post this like a month ago, but I am lame. Sorry 🙁 Last month… I think for the Survivor finale… Danny & Tonita brought over kabob fixins and we had fun putting together and even more fun eating them. YUM!
