19 Weeks

19 weeks! We are all doing great and sometimes I even forget that I am pregnant 🙂 We should be finding out on Friday is baby #2 is a boy or a girl! I feel like this pregnancy has flown by and I can’t believe that it is already time for the big ultrasound.

Nothing too big has happened in the pregnancy. A few weeks ago I thought I was having a bad round of morning sickness and laughed at the fact that it waited until my 2nd trimester. That night I discovered it wasn’t morning sickness, but either food poisoning or the flu. Yuck! The doctor wanted me to go to the ER, but I “went against doctor’s orders” (seriously, they had to make a note in my chart that I am not obedient) and I just went to Urgent Care. They ended up just giving me a shot for the nausea and after about 48 hours I was back to normal. Kenny ended up getting sick a few days later so I am guessing we just had the flu.

A few days after that, Van came with me to my doctor’s appointment and was able to hear the baby’s heartbeat! It was so much fun watching him listening to the baby. He was so excited and talked about the “thump, thump” all day.

Around 13 weeks, I felt the baby move. We even were able to see him/her rolling around. Since then, I have felt the baby a few times, but not every day. I can’t wait till the movement is more consistant and Kenny and Van can feel the baby as well.

So… any guesses if we are having a boy or a girl?
